2010

This marks the last article of 2010 on my blog. I returned this afternoon to Paris after a flight from Montreal to Paris via a connection in Frankfurt. Overall, the year 2010 began in sadness because there was the earthquake in January in Haiti (where I nearly lost several members of my family) followed by the death of my grandmother nearly a month later.

The entire rest of my year was pretty Regular and my fondest memory of this year will be my trip to Australia that I made in October 2010. The latter was, with my trip to Mexico in 2006, my best travel backpack.

Question of Canadian pride, I note also memorable as this year's great performance of Canada at the Vancouver Games in February.

Good Eve. For my part, I am about to celebrate the passage from Arnaud to 2011 along with several French friends. Back on my blog in 2011 to talk about the new year!

Fridge Thermostat Broken

Merry Christmas to all (and all) readers (trice) My Blog In my case, that's now 4 days since I'm on vacation in the "Belle Province" (ie Quebec). I arrived Thursday afternoon on an Air Canada flight via Frankfurt. I was very lucky to arrive in Canada with only 1 hour late (due to a passenger who did not show when boarding) because shortly after I left, the snow was creating a new brothel in European airports. Sage had been my decision to leave for Frankfurt on the eve of my departure for Montreal instead of from Paris on Thursday morning! For my flight to Frankfurt, I could use my Aeroplan miles, which allowed me save a little on the price of the ticket. Little anecdote: On my flight from Frankfurt to Montreal, the air hostesses wore reindeer antlers as a disguise for Christmas!

Merry Christmas In Quebec December 23 to 30

After 7 long months of absence I am again back in the beautiful province! And for the first time since I live in France, I spend Christmas in Quebec with my family. The last time I had the opportunity to celebrate December 25 with my whole family Quebec was in 2003! I will leave on December 30 in order to celebrate the New Year with my French friends.

My itinerary will be Paris-Montreal via Frankfurt ... question can be upgraded to business class at low cost.

Saturday, November 27 last held the 2010 Christmas party "Cousins Fringants", a forum (and association) that I frequent which aims the promotion of Quebec culture in Europe), in a village in Burgundy. It was an opportunity for me to visit a vineyard and learn more about the stages of wine production.
